Thank you for making the 12th Annual Merrick’s Walk a success!
A big thank you goes out to those of you who walked, ran, registered as a phantom walker, made a donation, or volunteered.
~ About the walk ~
The 2.7-mile walk around the PATH at Chastain Park remembers Merrick Ryan, a Galloway alum who died of anorexia at the age of 19 in January, 2000. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
All proceeds benefit EDIN, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, all disordered eating, and the promotion of positive body esteem through education, outreach, and action. Our Community and Schools outreach programs reach thousands of Georgia’s students, educators, parents, and eating disorder sufferers.
